The MB-12 Belltron microphones are ideal for churches as they have a cardioid polar features. Their sensitivity gradually decreases to zero at the sides. In general, systems with cardiod features are much more versatile. A directional microphone with cardiod features is suitable for indoors and reverb surroundings as it allows the noise in the surroundings to be reduced right from the source. Particularly suitable when using multiple microphones from several sources and the crosstalk needs to be avoided, meaning that the sound emitted by a source is not absorbed by other microphones.
